Who We Are

D. Ellen Miller Productions is the combined efforts of a few passionate creative artists coming together with one common goal: to create the stories we love, and the way we love to tell them. We have put together our collective talents of editing, motion graphics, cinematography, producing, writing and directing skills all under one roof. 

The team includes Bruna Nogueira (Makeup Artist and Co-Producer); Damaris Pinheiro (Co-Producer); Ekin Ergen (First Assistant Director and Co-Producer); Al Sgro and Jimmy Hammer, both accomplished Musicians contributing to the film's auditory landscape; leaded by Dru Miller and Thiago Dadalt. Each member plays a crucial role in the production, blending their unique talents to create a cohesive and dynamic team.

DRU MILLER | EXECUTIVE | PRODUCER | WRITER

Dru Miller is the head of D. Ellen Miller Productions. She has spearheaded numerous film and television projects including the award-winning “Duke” about severe autism, “Where is Nancy?” and “Beyond”. Her other projects includes “Life on a Leash” and “2nd Time Around” for which she serves as executive producer, creator and writer.

She is also the owner and Vice President of a propane and heating fuel company in the Pacific Northwest.

THIAGO DADALT | WRITER | DIRECTOR | EDITOR

Thiago Dadalt is a talented and visionary self-taught filmmaker from Brazil known for his thought-provoking and emotionally resonant films. His films have earned critical acclaim and numerous accolades, highlighting important social issues and giving a voice to those often unheard. In 2022, Thiago debuted as a feature documentary filmmaker with "Where is Nancy?", Best Documentary award at the Cinequest Film Festival 2020. His latest project is a feature documentary about Tamara Mark, a single mother fighting to create an autism community for her two nonverbal autistic young adults. Through his powerful storytelling and masterful direction, Thiago continues to impact the world of cinema significantly, highlighting critical social issues and giving a voice to those often unheard.
